For me, vintage fashion has always been about storytelling.

Since I was little, I loved going through my grandmother’s closet — she had the most beautiful fashion pieces, each with a story she was eager to tell. As time passed, those garments aged, softened, and became part of our family’s memories. They weren’t just clothes — they were moments preserved in fabric.

That early exposure to high-quality, timeless vintage naturally led me to explore the deeper world of fashion. While studying at Parsons School of Design in New York and later working as a fashion designer, I found myself drawn again and again to vintage shops and antique markets. Those experiences shaped me into a collector, a curator, and a creator — someone who sees both the past and future in every garment.

RETIE was born from that journey.

At RETIE, we give new life to vintage silk ties by transforming them into one-of-a-kind accessories — and we continue to offer a curated selection of vintage pieces that are timeless, wearable, and full of character.
